The butterfly that inspired Prism is the Blue Morpho, known for its incredibly complex wing scale structure, resembling multilayered louver-like ridges. When light hits the wings, it triggers various optical effects such as refraction, reflection, and diffraction.
On the tuck box, we used vibrant colors combined with blue foil to simulate these optical phenomena — as the angle of light changes, the blue sheen on the surface shifts accordingly, creating a captivating dynamic visual effect.
